So I was having one of those nights where I was like seriously I need a girls night. Kira texted me and told me that she was having a girls night with Ev and that I could come over and hang. Matt was gone for the weekend. I was excited. I haven't seen Ev forever and we had so much fun just like old times. We did some face masks and then watched a dumb movie, but not before they were trying on Kira's wedding dress and laughing so hard. Good times

We weren't going to be able to go camping and then miraculously Billy got work off and I was thankful cuz it was like the only major thing I really wanted to do with my family this summer. We went to Rexburg first so I could take a Literacy test and we stayed with Amber and Ben and their kids. We arrived at like 1:30 in the morning. That day we played with the nephews and I showed billy around Rexburg my old apartments and fun times. I took him to Brother Christensens and we met their new baby boy Carter and talked with them for like an hour it was so fun. I took my test in record time :) Then we headed to Georgetown. We arrived and set up our tent and ate dinner. We were excited. We went to the lake went on 4-wheeler rides and played horseshoe golf and normal horse shoes. I got sun burnt, oops!! It ended way to soon, but we had a great time.

Billy, Grace, Zephyr, Lilly and I went to Wyoming to get fireworks. Zephyr was super excited and wanted everything there, he even talked the lady into letting him get his smoke bombs buy one box get one free. We bought a few things but not much. The girls at the checkout when Z and lill were getting their stuff were totally flirting with Zephyr and it was funny cuz they were probably at least 16 and he's only 12. On the 4th of July we went over to Ava's and had dinner and then did our fireworks in front of her house. WE had fun jumping on the trampoline and dodging the cars that came blasting down the street not even paying attention.

Okay so my 24th Birthday came and left. I think Billy was the most excited about my birthday. It was my first birthday with him. We had church that day, so we got up and got ready, I had to teach a lesson and so I made my little primary class some cupcakes :). I opened Billys card before we went to church, and it almost made me cry, which any of you who know me know that is a big thing. It was so cute and heart felt. I really knew that he loved me so much. I am so grateful for him and for the love that we share and for our marriage. We are so perfect for each other I love it. After church he let me open my first present. It was a new phone. He got me the LG EnV Touch, I was so excited, it was the one I wanted the most but I didn't plan on getting it cuz I thought it was too expensive, but he got a good deal on it. Although it was a sad day to get rid of my Idaho number that I've had for five years, but it's all good. Now we have the same plan and are saving money. Then we took a nap and just relaxed at home for awhile, and then went over to Billys moms house and they had decorated it with streamers and stuff, so cute. And had gotten me a cake from Sams Club! Billy also let me buy ingredients to make me a skor cake, that I made later, but I was excited that he let me even though he can't eat it. Then I opened my presents from Zephyr and Grace, they got me a shirt and a gift card to Kohls. So I got new clothes for work from Kohls. Then they took me to dinner at the Blue Iguana downtown. My very first time being there was on Billys birthday last year with his family and it was so good and cheap too. We went back to Grace's house and we ate cake and I opened my others presents, Billy got me the season for the Secret LIfe and some shirts and very sexy perfume :) and Lilly got me some cute socks, nail polish, and chapstick. WE watched Nacho Libre and then we came home cuz I got a headache, :( but overall it was a great day. I was sad to not be with my family but I was with family so it was still exciting. My family sent me money! So I got to buy some fun things with that, a new straightener, which I needed so badly!!! We had planned to go to dinner with Billys dad and his family and do a double birthday dinner thing with Katy cuz her birthday was on the 18th but a day never worked out, so later I got my gifts from them. They got me money and a new purse and water guns, (thanks Wes)! I love family and am grateful that they thought of me on my birthday!!

I was so excited, it was time to go see my family again. We were going to head up to Grace after work and Billys class on Saturday. We stopped in Logan and ate at El Sol, it was pretty good. I got fried ice cream for the first time that I recall, it was very good, but so big, I couldn't eat it all. Then we headed onto Grace. We stopped and picked up Ashlynn at Grandma Macs and then went to my house. We went to church with my family and it was good, my dad had planned a whole big dinner prime rib, etc. But Grandma pat had already planned a get together at her house, my dad didn't know. But we were able to see all of that side of the family too so it was fun. That night we went to Peanuts seminary graduation. I can't believe she's graduating it was good to go there. Good times. That night peanut, Billy and I played cribbage and then went to bed. ON Monday we went to Grandma macs for our annual Memorial Day cookout. It was raining as usual but we still had fun. WE had dutch oven potatoes and chicken and then took family pictures it was great and everyone was there :) Then we went and visited the graves of family members, it was fun to be able to show Billy around and tell him about my passed on relatives. We were going to just head back to Utah after that, but I wanted to stay along longer. Muff came out to my house after with us and we ended up playing Pig/Hog and spoons, we laughed so hard. It was very fun. Oh and while we were taking pictures at grandmas Jason was standing by me and him and Brandon were quoting Nacho Libre I hadn't seen it yet, but it was so funny. WE had to borrow it from AShlynn after that. Overall a very good weekend.

Living Traditions in Salt Lake

So, I've never been to the Living Traditions before, it's free to get in and watch the entertainment, but you pay for crafts and food. It's kinda cool, cuz there are booths from all over the world with different types of food. It was hard to decide what we wanted to eat, I ended up deciding on a Navajo Taco and Billy got something from a different place, I don't remember what it was called :) We watched some different entertainment, but then me and Lilly wanted a snow cone so we went and they asked us if we wanted some ice cream too, so we did. Come to find out it was the Hawaii booth and they put homemade Macadamia nut ice cream in it. So it was definitely different, I didn't mind it, but Lilly thought it was disgusting! And seriously there were so many people there who were so drunk, I just don't understand that sometimes lol.

So we spent Mothers Day with Billys mom and Lilly and Zephyr. I was sad to not be able to be with my mom, but it was okay. I was able to have cell service to call and wish her a Happy Mothers Day anyways, so hopefully she liked that. We went to Antelope Island. I had never been to the Great Salt Lake before. The second we got out of the car, we were bombarded by gnats, and I was not happy. It was very annoying. I was thinking are we really supposed to be here for fun? Anyways we ended up getting in the water and you can just float it's pretty sweet so Billy, Z, and I had fun just relaxing out in the water. I got salt water in my eye and couldn't see for like 10 minutes, you should've seen me, trying to swim back, it hurt. We brought our rollerblades so we could rollerblade, but by the time we tried that, we were seriously getting bitten by gnats, mosquitoes, and it was not fun, so we decided to head back. We had bites that itched like crazy for days from the gnats :(. I vowed not to go back there at the same time of year again, I hear that spring is the worst time to go. We'll see.
