Mission Reunion/General Conference/Easter Weekend

So somehow miraculously Billy didn't have to work on the Sunday of General Conference this time. I found out later that the miracle of it was cuz it was Easter and Sam's Club is closed on Easter. Anyway because Billy loves me, he let us come to Grace for the weekend, well most of it. Friday night we had our mission reunion, Billy was so excited to go, because this time all his other companions would be there that he hadn't seen. So I reluctantly went too, and I did have a pretty good time. It's such a blessing to me that we both know the same people, and that neither of us has to feel bored at the others mission reunion. It's something that we'll share and treasure with one another forever, as well as our love for Oregon!! We love the OEM!! I had all the sisters there touching my belly and asking me about being pregnant, it was funny. Then Billy had to work Saturday til 4:30, so I watched conference at our apartment by myself :( and then since we had everything already packed up to go, he got back and we loaded the car and headed out. We have found that from our place in West Valley that if we just take the legacy parkway out of the city instead of trying to fight the downtown/outta town traffic we get through much much easier. So now it's not even as stressful to drive to my house, and it takes less time. When we got to my house we had tacos for dinner and then just sat around the table and talked/laughed. It was good times. Then I finally got to play pinochle with partners again, hadn't played forever. We went to bed way too late. Got up and watched conference in the morning. Then we got ready to go down to Grandma Pats for Easter dinner/and the egg hunt. I finally got to see Torri again, which was weird cuz we both live in the same town and the last time I saw her was at Grandma Pats harvest dinner in November. We went and saw Grandma Mac, Grandpa Lonnie, Jeff, Teigun, in Grace. Then we went to Jer and Cami's to see Myan. She was born in October and I hadn't seen her yet. We also stopped in and saw the Merry Mickelsons Easter surprises, lol. We also had an Easter surprise from my mom. She got us both outfits, and our baby some onesies with cute socks, a movie, game, these sweet mini mag lights, and lots of candy. It was fun to get all the new stuff. We played cards again and then the next day we had to leave pretty decent time to make it back for Billy to be to work. Apparently something he ate for breakfast before we headed out must've somehow had milk in it, cuz he started to have a reaction on the way back. So we ended up having to switch and I drove back cuz he had to take a Benadryl. Luckily he never needed to throw up, cuz I probably would've too. So overall it seemed like a quick weekend, but we had a lot of fun seeing everyone and just being able to relax and not worry about work and school.

Billy's Last quarter

Well I wish it was really his last quarter of school ever, but not even close. Someday!! Anyways he loved most of his classes this last time. He finally got a great teacher that he really likes and that will be staying at the Art Institute for a good long time. He learned how to make objects become animation and got to design many different things. I personally have no idea how he even does it, but he loves what he is doing and is very good at it. In fact he just started a new quarter and this quarter he has 3 of his projects from last quarter that will be hanging up in the school, or on the TVs at school so you can see the animation. He also made the Dean's Honor Roll this last quarter, I am very proud of him and the accomplishments he's making with school. He's really doing well, and let's just say I can't wait til he'll be finished. We were very happy to find out that this next quarter that just started gets over the week before I am due, then he gets 3 weeks off for summer break. So I'll be able to have him home more than if he had work and school. Now it will just be work:)

Glucose Appointment

So I have been totally paranoid being pregnant that I would have all these issues with the doctor always telling me that I'm gaining too much weight, that I would get the gestational diabetes, that one day I wouldn't feel my baby move anymore and etc. So the time came for me to have to drink my glucose drink. I had to drink it in the morning without anything else. So it was like a sugar rush that was not good. I thought I would puke! Then I get to the doctor and really need to use the bathroom, but I have to wait til they call me back etc. So I finally get to use the bathroom, get weighed and then wait in the room for the doctor. I swear this time it took forever, I am just sitting there wondering what the outcome will be. My doctor finally comes in and checks the heartbeat and how far I'm measuring, then says that I have to wait a few more minutes for the nurse to come take my blood. He said that it usually takes them 1 or 2 days for the results, and that they will only contact me if there is a problem with my levels. So she finally comes in and takes my blood. Then I have two days where I am just waiting nervously to know if they are going to call me and tell me I need to come back and do the 3 hour test. Luckily they never called. I actually found out at my last appointment that all my levels looked great that it was not even a close call. So no more blood tests this pregnancy unless something goes wrong. So I'm planning on no way.

Hmmmmm

So I have so many people telling me all the time to update my blog. It is hard for me to do often, because we do not have the internet at home. But anyways. I don't think I ever really said that we found our our baby would be a girl! We are very excited, and can't wait the last 9 1/2 weeks til she gets here. Hopefully it will go by fast. We were able to make a trip to Rexburg in March for Mylie K's baby blessing. We had a lot of fun seeing all of my family and also I got to see a couple of people from my mission. I got to take Billy to meet Rachel Wilson, a convert of mine from when I was in Grants Pass. It is very exciting for me, because she has stayed so strong in the church, and will be getting married in the Medford Temple on May 22. I wish we could be there, but considering I'll be 9 months pregnant, it's definitely not an option. After we saw her, we headed over to the AmericInn, where my family was staying the night. We met up with Jayden, Ashlynn, Peanut, (who brought Andrew and Nic), and we swam in the pool for a couple of hours. The kids were definitely in heaven. I was glad to not be the only pregnant lady there. There were two other women there who were most definitely more pregnant than me. Anyways we got to talk to my mom and dad for awhile and then headed back to Amber and Ben's, where we were staying for the weekend. We talked for quite awhile. The funny thing was that we were not the only ones staying for the weekend, Ben's parents and little brother, and his sister and husband and her 4 kids were there also. So trying to figure out the shower situation was crazy. Luckily I didn't have to have too cold of a shower! We went to the baby blessing, and Ben gave her a very sweet blessing. She behaved really well, and was happy most of the whole Sacrament Meeting. She sure looked cute too. It made me so excited for my baby to get here. We had the normal after blessing luncheon at Ambers. It was really good, we had taco soup/taco salad. Most all the family had to leave on Sunday, but we were lucky enough to be able to stay til Monday. So after all the family left, Billy and I went to see a sister from Eugene Oregon that I had went on exchanges with, and who later served her own mission to Louisiana. He got to meet the famous Amy Dilg!! I was so excited to see her, we had so much fun just talking and catching up. We also loved remembering all our funny/good times in Oregon. When we got back to Ambers that night, it was so cute. Ben was making some eggs and waffles for dinner and his boys were helping him. So you have two stools pushed over by the stove and counter where you have Andrew mixing waffle batter with his left hand, and Nic mixing the eggs. They were so excited to be helping their dad. We were all exhausted so we went to bed pretty early, and then we got up and got ready in the morning to head out back to Utah, which by the way is a long drive!!! But we had good incentive! We had gotten a gift card to the Timbermine for Valentines Day from my mom and dad, and so we got to have a great meal there in between. As I am typing I remembered something funny that happened while at Ambers before the family had left. We were all sitting in the living room talking, and Jayden decides to count and say everyone's name to clap with him. Tim was there and he had said tent for Tim's name. So I told him that Tim. So the next time he really emphasized TIM, then moved on. You just have to love Jayden. He always makes our family times more fun and he's always good for a great laugh! I was so happy to be able to see everyone and wish that we could make it to see them more often. We do what we can for now, but overall it was a great weekend.
