A visit with Great Grandma Esther

We decided to pay Grandma Esther a visit to thank her for her generous christmas gifts. Taggart was so happy to have the monkey toy she gave him and he really wanted her glasses. It was cute she kept saying now you can't have my glasses. Silly boy anyways. We had fun just talking with her and looking at old pictures of the family. My favorite was one of Billy with really crazy hair.
I had to put him on her lap so she could hold him. She was a trooper and held him for like twenty minutes, then he just wanted to roll around on the floor. Thanks Gradma, we love you!

New Years

Just enjoying his dinner!

This post may be just a little boring! I don't have many pictures, but we were able to go to Grace for New Years. I was so excited because it was our turn to be with Billy's family for Christmas so I wanted to see my family too. We drove up and this time Taggart didn't do so well. We stopped in Logan and then once we got to the Y I took him out of his car seat because he was just so done with being in the car. I know I know I'm such a bad mom, but I had a headache and couldn't take listening to him anymore lol! We went to the Stake Center to watch Ashlynn, Brando, and Muffin dance ( they are part of the dance club with Andrea Holyoak) It was so cool to watch them, it made me wish that they had that available when I was in high school. Billy even got me to dance with him. I don't know why I was so embarrassed! LOL It was fun though. Then Mandi and Tim came out to my parents and we played scum and pictionary on the wii. We ate way too much, but had a great time. On New Years Day, which is my dads bday. He turned 46! I know it sounds weird but he basically made a huge dinner. It was so good! Like a second Thanksgiving! We had ham, mashed potatoes and gravy (complete with droppings ;)), stuffing, homemade rolls, sweet potatoes, and texas brownies. He got new church clothes and an ipod. So with a new year also comes new church times. My parents switched to 8:30 A.M. lets just say I was not looking forward to going to that. Taggart did surprisingly well, even let out a few farts during Sacrament Meeting! We loved our time there but had to be back for work on Monday! It was nice to have some extra time with Billy being done with school. I am so proud of him! He made the Dean's Honor Roll again! He is doing so well and I know that when he's finished he's going to get a great job and will enjoy his work again!! Happy New Year everyone.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

For Christmas Eve we went to the Johnson's family party. (Marci's family) We met at Lori's clubhouse and had spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, salads, garlic bread, and cheesecake for dessert. It was all tasty food. Right when we got there Taggart had fallen asleep in the car, so once again his nap got interrupted. We tried to have him go back down, but needless to say the Johnson Clan is not a quiet bunch ;). So we just talked and ate food, until it was time to do the white elephant gift exchange. It was lots of fun seeing what gifts everyone wanted to steal from one another. I did re-gift the HUGE bra, so we all got a kick out of that. Ya I'm sleepy, they just keep dragging me to party after party!

After the party we went over to the Burks for "Christmas" we opened presents from them and Santa had even had an elf drop off stuff for us a little early. We got spoiled as usual, and so did Taggart. It was an enjoyable time, but we were ready to get home and get Taggart to bed, so we could finish all of our Christmas stuff. I bet all of you wished that you were done with doing presents and stuff at 9:00 p.m. :)

We opened presents at home and were once again spoiled by everyone. We had breakfast and then just took our time to get ready to go to Grandma Grace's. We opened presents there, and then were invited over to Ava's for Christmas dinner. We talked and snacked there, until Taggart had had it. He was just so sick of all the parties and not being home. He actually fell asleep in my arms, which he never does anymore. (I did enjoy it though) He was all party'd out.

The Best Two Years,,,,So Far!!

This year for our anniversary we knew we weren't going to be able to do anything super exciting, because now we have Taggart. On our actual anniversary Billy had to work, so we celebrated on Wednesday. For your second anniversary the traditional gift is something cotton. Ha Ha so we could get anything right?? Well I got Billy some new socks, and he got me a shirt and some pajama pants. Billy was in charge this year, because I did it last year. He planned for us to take Taggart to Gma and Gpa Burk for the evening. We then went Christmas shopping for Taggart, it was fun to decide what to get him and to just be out and about without having to worry about Tagg. Then Billy bought stuff to make us a really yummy dinner. He made filet mignon, artichokes, baked potatoes, rolls, and we had fruit too. It was alot of fun just to spend time together and just talk. I can't believe that two years have come and gone. I can't believe that we already have a 6 mth old baby, and that Billy is getting so much closer to finishing school. I can't wait!! I love Billy so much, I couldn't ask for a greater husband and father for my children. He always does things for me that I probably don't deserve, but I guess that's what you do when you're in love right?? It'll be exciting to find out what the next two years bring us.

Readying for The Holidays!!

We had our annual Taggart Family Christmas Party on December 11. We drove up the day of because Billy had to work. Taggart did really well in the car and we didn't even have to stop for him on the way. We had yummy pizza from Smokey Joes ( they even had a cheese-less one for Billy) and he loved it. We had a talent show and white elephant gift exchange. I didn't get any good pictures of everyone playing basketball, but oh boy I am out of shape. We played a game of lightning before we left and it was down to Jason and I, and I won. Somehow magically I kept making all my 3 pointers!! Grandma Mac even played it was a great time and some good laughs!! I wish I would've gotten a picture of more people, and especially of Andrew's face when Ben opened up his siz 52 H or double H bra! LOL Andrew was red and was like mom I think this is for you. I gladly swapped them and used it at another party.
