Early Birthday Fun!

Grandma Pat and Peanut came down for a viewing of my grandma's classmate from High School. They were planning to at least meet up with me, but then we decided to just make it an early birthday party. We got a room at Little America (my favoritest hotel), and they picked up Tagg and I for an overnighter.  We were able to have dinner with Torri at Golden Corral first, and it was fun to just eat and talk. We haven't had an outing like that in a long time, I wish I would have gotten a picture of us at the restaurant, but I didn't.

Taggart loved to explore the room, he loved crawling in the closet and out the other side.

We went swimming before Grandma came down, she had to watch Dancing with the stars I think.
We snuck into the hot tub for a few minutes with Taggart on my lap out of the water, the other people in there were acting weird. We figured they were thinking why would she put a baby in here, but anyways we just tried it out for a minute. We felt bad for grandma cuz we were ready to go back to the room when she came down, but she just did her own exercises then met us back at the room. Taggart was in love with the huge bath tub and was having a blast taking a bath before bed.

We got Taggart all ready for bed and in the play pen, but since we weren't all going to bed he of course just stood up and looked at us. So I got a brilliant plan, we were all finished with the bathroom area, so I wheeled him in there where he could be in his own room. I knew he would sleep better that way! It worked, he woke up at like 4:30 then slept in til almost 9! Grandma read her book, and she let me play with her IPAD 2 while Peanut was on her own IPAD, we stayed up way too late, but we had fun. We got ready and then went to the restaurant downstairs, I was glad we weren't going outside cuz it was pouring!
At breakfast, everyone was saying how cute Taggart is.
Grandma needed to get some new garments for her trip so we decided to go to the distribution center. We thought we would go to the one downtown, but we never found it. My grandma has a brand new Buick Enclave, and it has the on star navigation, so we ended up going to the one a little more west. I'm excited I got a new pair of the new garments. I didn't know they had carinessa tops, I can't wait to try them! Taggart was so ready for his morning nap, so he slept in the car. Nothing more precious than a sleeping baby.

Grandma asked me what mall was my favorite, it is the South Town Mall. So we drove pretty far South to go shopping. We went to Macy's where grandma got a hand bag for her trip and she had to find a dressy blouse for the dress up night on her cruise. Can I just say there are some really interesting dress up clothes. She found a couple pretty ones and one was even on sale, BONUS! Peanut needed new shoes cuz she wore flip flops and they were killing her feet. We had a $15 dollar off coupon for Famous Footwear, so she found some there. Taggart was such a good sport through all of the shopping, even though he was a little constipated. I shouldn't laugh but it is so cute when he is trying to go and can't. We were going to drive up to Ogden and eat at the Timbermine, but Billy and I decided that we shouldn't spend the gas money to go. So grandma bought us lunch at the food court. Billy had just gotten off of work so he met us there. We had lots of fun, and are grateful for Grandma Pat! Thanks for spoiling us :)
Taggart isn't smiling, but this was the best of the 3 we took.

Cowabunga Bay

Kira and I had talked about getting a season pass to a water park for the summer, so we would have somewhere to take the kids while our hubby's worked. It turned out that we got lucky and Cowabunga Bay for the one day we called them was doing a 50% off pass. We jumped on it, and I guess I say Happy Birthday to me, and Tagg of course! Billy and I decided to use the pass Saturday since it was the first day it was open. Of course the weather wasn't the nice 80 degrees of the day before, but we were able to have some fun. Needless to say Taggart loved the lazy river, and he enjoyed going down the slide that they let us take him down.

Obviously we need a bigger hat for Tagg, lol it cracks me up! It worked well for him though. I love the smell of baby sunscreen and seeing Tagg and his chunky legs in his suit. I'm very excited to warm weather and sun, so that we can use the pass and get our money's worth. Heck, maybe I'll finally get a tan, ha ha.

Best Mothers Day Ever

I title this as the best Mother's Day Ever, because it was my first one and it was great! I loved being catered too and spending time with my hubby and Taggart. After getting out of the shower I found this on my bed:

The card made my heart melt, I love my lil guy
Billy made me eggs and toast for Breakfast, and told me to ask before I came downstairs to make sure he was ready I guess. He had posted cute notes from him and Taggart all over the walls downstairs. They just told me how much they loved me and why they loved me. It was very sweet, I still have them up and read them every time I am down there. Billy also got me these:

Billy always tells me that he wishes he could get me flowers more often and I assure him that I really would rather have something else if we're going to be spending money. But secretly sometimes I really enjoy when he does get me some. I love smelling them, and I feel like they brighten up the room!

Our Bishopric found out that we are moving so of course they caught us at home one evening and asked Billy to speak on Mothers Day. I was glad that I was off the hook. Too bad it was Taggart's worst day at church by far. He slept late so he didn't get a nap before church so he was dreadful throughout Sacrament Meeting, and I had to take him out and listen to Billy's talk from the foyer. The only thing that would've been better for the day, would be if I could've really enjoyed church. Oh well, there is always next time!
My cute lil family on Mothers Day
Billy really wanted me to feel loved and special on Mothers Day and kept asking me if I was happy and what else he could do for me. I just wanted a nap. Luckily for us, Tagg took a great nap and so did we. I had a very enjoyable day, and I was happy to reflect on the reasons I love being a wife and mother. I know that there is nothing else I would rather be doing with my life right now. Taggart lights up my life so much, I love that it's obvious he loves me the most ;) and that he is such a sweetheart, happy, kissable boy. I love being his mom and feel honored that Heavenly Father entrusted him with me. Love you forever Taggart!

A Weekend with Edna :)

My old companion, Sister Trevizo (Edna) came to visit over Mothers Day weekend. We went to dinner at Blue Iguana downtown, then went to the Salt Lake Temple to do a session. She had never been there or done a live session, so it was a great experience!

The next day Billy had to work pretty early afternoon, so we put Tagg's carseat in Edna's car so we could go do errands and go shopping (window shopping) for me :) We checked out the DI for some ties and actually found some pretty sweet ones, went to the biggest Distribution Center I've ever been too. I love going to the Distribution Center and just looking around at everything. It was fun to see all the stuff that we used to order during the mission for our Area. Poor Taggart kept falling asleep in the car, so he didn't get too great of a nap. We also met up with one of Edna's friends from home that lives in Orem, she came downtown and we went to dinner at a Thai place. It was pretty good, I got completely spoiled by Edna though, she bought mine and even got me some lotion and spray at Victoria's Secret. It was lots of fun.
Billie and Edna

It was way fun for Edna to come and hang out, I miss being able to see and talk with her. Luckily I talked her into moving to Utah, ha ha. No really she is going to move here but not because of me, I'm pretty sure I'm just a perk ;)

Cinco De Mayo

To celebrate the 5th of May ;), we went to Bryan and Marci's for dinner. They said it was mostly an excuse to get together! It was actually nice outside, so it was fun to be outside and talk. We are being as patient as possible waiting for Summer,,,,hint hint!!

Bryan pressure cooked the meat so it would pull apart really well for the fajitas! It was very good!

What's Cinco de Mayo without a virgin margarita!
Taggart had lots of fun playing with Grandma. He is still trying to decide what he thinks about crawling on the grass when he can feel it on his legs. It's hilarious to watch his face!

I love how you can see the little fat crease in his knee!
It seems like we always have pictures of Taggart eating, but he is so cute while he eats that we have to take em. He is still such a good eater and loves to eat anything, but if he sees you with something sweet he's sure to follow you around until you give him a taste!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Burk for inviting us to have dinner, we had lots of fun.
