1 year old Stats

Tagg went to the Dr. and the Dr. Said:

27 lbs=93rd Percentile
31 1/2 inches Long=93rd Percentile
Taggart is a very healthy, growing boy.
I was proud of him after his shots, he only cried for a minute or two.
We took him swimming after, so it would take his mind off of the shots.

Peek-A

-Boo :)

Just having a little bite to eat!
Taggart is a great eater. He'll eat 2 jars of baby food at least 3 times a day, and table food with us whenever one of us are eating.
He is done nursing, Hooray (for me), and is now getting used to drinking cow's milk.
He still loves his juice, puffs, yogurt melts, yogurt, cheese, tomatoes, and pretty much anything that he can get his hands on.
He walked to me for the first time the day before his birthday, and has been walking randomly each day. He is still being scared to just walk and not crawl. He is getting awesome at side stepping and just getting around.
He still sleeps through the night, and takes one or two naps a day.
He loves to go swimming, take walks and play at the park with mom and dad.
He's getting really good at Peek-a-boo and patty cake.
He is still enjoying the Your Baby Can Read, and of course absolutely LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse still.
I'm still waiting on him to say Mama, instead of Dada all the time:)

Taggart's 1 year old Pictures

My favorite :)

Shows his personality well! He loves that tongue!

My favorite boys!

Gotta love me some shades :)

Taggart's First Birthday

Wow! A year has flown by. I can't believe that Taggart is already 1. He is getting so big and changing everyday. For his birthday, we took him swimming at Cowabunga Bay. He absolutely loves going swimming :)
The birthday boy decided to wake up early, at 7:00. Maybe he knew it was his birthday??!!

It was funny to watch Taggart open his present, because he was more interested in the tissue paper. We thought we should get him a hat and water shoes to wear swimming, so he wouldn't keep scraping up his toes.

Just relaxing watching his show with his hat on
I don't know who was looking forward to the turning of the car seat around more, me or Tagg. Let's just say he absolutely loves it!
He was all grins the whole time while in the car!
Next stop, Cowabunga Bay!

Zephyr, Tagg, Billy, Lilly, Grandma
We can't decide if Taggart likes the lazy river or being by the splashing water best. We think that he just loves that he's in the water.
Just relaxing with my milk

Gotta love our faces!

I love to watch Taggart crawl, because his bum waddles like the geese on Aristocats. It was a fun sun-filled day. We were all beat, and needed to go home and get ready for presents and cake and ice cream!
All Tuckered Out, didn't even make it our short drive home.
Time for Presents:
Taggart absolutely loves this book, Aunt Ava gave him a huge one!

So excited for the See-n-Say from Mom and Dad

Grandma Grace gave him this scooter
Taggart got spoiled once again. He got a scooter, books, shopping cart, hat, shoes, see-n-say and balloons. I'll be excited when he's actually excited to open his presents.

And now what everyone has been waiting for,,,,,,,,,,,,,THE CAKE!!

We got a little close :)

Can't have cake without ice cream!

Let me out.

Taggart had finally had it, and he was literally screaming the whole time we had him in the bath tub. He was so ready for bed. It was so cute how he was so dainty eating the cake and then would randomly just hit it or grab it. I think next time I'm just going to give my 1 year old a cup cake, maybe they won't seem so overwhelmed. We had a perfect day, with lots of love for our little man! We love him more than we can even say. Happy First Birthday Bubba-Boo, we love you!

A visit to the Aquarium

Grandma and Grandpa Burk gave Taggart, Billy, and I passes to the Aquarium for Tagg's birthday. We went the other day and checked out most of it.
Tagg and Dad looking at some fish

Anaconda Squeeeeze! I was afraid I'd have nightmares, they said that snake would get twice as big!

Tagg and Mom at the Penguin exhibit

The Aquarium was pretty neat, we had never been there. Taggart's favorite thing was the place where there were really big fish swimming around, he sat and watched them for quite awhile. I thought the penguins were cool, and wish that we would've gotten a better picture. There were lots of people by that one. It was great to be inside an air conditioned place to do something fun.
