Memorial Day Weekend

We debated whether or not to head up to Grace after cleaning or to go Sunday morning. We were so tired and didn't know where anything was to take with us so we decided to go up Sunday. It's a tradition for my moms side of the family to have a cookout on Memorial Day, then go and visit the graves at the different cemeteries. Amber and her family were actually going to be able to make it, so we decided to go too. We actually got family pictures taken, but those will be on a different post. On the drive up, Taggart slept til we got off the Mccammon exit and then we started singing songs with him. I sang If you're happy and you know it, and Taggart was clapping his hands, it was super cute.  It's nice to see that the "Your Baby Can Read" is working with him, even though you can't always notice.  We went straight to Grandma Pats, because her family comes up on Sunday before Memorial Day and they do a cookout also. Taggart was having a not very good day, and because of all the noise got sad quickly. We ate and played the Red Neck Life game, it's pretty funny, but you have to be in the mood to play it more than once I think.

Taggart having his first real Cheeto, I think it's safe to say he liked it!

Aunt Ashlynn and Tagg, he's getting so good at drinking from his cup.

Mack, he is a few days from two in this picture. I think he looks a lot like Lily in this one.

Torri and Bryan making really weird faces, I swear most pictures I have of Bryan are like that :)

After playing games, we went to my parents house. It was time for Tagg to go to bed. This time we decided to have him sleep in Jayden's room in his pack-n-play, alone so that he would not be disturbed. Needless to say it was a LONG night!! Lots of excitement and kids wanting to have fun and play. But in Taggart's defense, once he went to sleep at midnight, he did sleep til almost 10:00 A.M.

Taking pictures was interesting. The young ones weren't too happy to do it, but we got em done. I will post them in a later post. After, it was off to Grandma Mac's for our dutch oven cook out! I just love dutch oven chicken and potatoes! Everyone on that side of the family was there, except for Jeff's fiance's oldest daughter, Dakota.

There was finally a break in the weather so we all loaded up and headed to the cemeteries. It's crazy how every year it's a rainy day on Memorial Day. It's a fun tradition that we have with the family and I hope that we can continue to do it.
