22 Months

Taggart has been waking up earlier unfortunately. So basically my day consists of him waking up, getting him out of his bed. He immediately grabs my finger and drags me to the DVD player. He wants to watch his new show from Easter, The Little Engine that Could. He grabs the case and makes an excited noise, then sits in the banana chair to get ready to watch. He will literally sit and watch the whole thing. Then after the movie is over he wants to eat, but man his appetite has decreased. I can't decide if he was just a pig :) before, and now it's caught up with him or what. But he will only eat like some yogurt, or a granola bar, or string cheese for breakfast. Then he might want a snack a couple hours later, but doesn't always ask for one. He has been taking his nap around noon, and sleeps 2 to 2 1/2 hours usually. I have been indulging in my own nap at that time, if I have nothing else pressing to do, like get in the shower and do house work ;) ha ha. He wakes up and is ready for lunch. Where he used to eat a whole PB&J sandwich now I am lucky if he will eat half. But at least he will still eat and it's not that he is picky he just isn't eating as much. He always wants his shoes on to go out and play. So if I have enough energy then we go out to play. It has been more fun to take him outside, because he has been staying at the playground and going down the slide over and over, instead of trying to run away from me. He is getting so smart with all of his toys and I have fun playing with him during the day. When his dad gets home he squeals and runs to the door and gives him a hug, and usually tries to get him to take him outside again, or especially if I haven't taken him out that day. It is so cute to see him get so excited when his dad gets home :)
He is fascinated with climbing in and out of this little jumper.

Playing airplane with dad.

Taggart loves to take his dad to our bed and lay down, then he wants him to tickle him and tease him. Taggart laughs and laughs, it is so cute. He also has been loving to bring us the camera and smile for a picture. So we have a few pictures of when he wanted his taken.

He is also wanting to do things all by himself, especially stairs. He is getting really good at it.

Sometimes because of how Taggart is sitting or what he is doing, it cracks me up, so I just have to take a picture. I can't believe how big he is getting. I always love getting pictures of him when he is in his church clothes, cuz he always looks so handsome.

Just checking out his fruit loops

Major bedhead day eating a grilled cheese
I've been trying to talk to Taggart about his new baby brother who will be here soon. He always just pats his own belly, so I don't think he really knows what is going on or anything. I was getting the baby clothes out and setting up the bassinet and stuff, and kept telling him this is for your baby brother. So we'll see how he does when he actually gets here. I took him visiting teaching with me the other day and one of them has a 4 month old and Taggart just kept patting her bum softly and was so interested, he was very nice. So I can hope right??
He has been so into running lately that he runs into stuff, see his 2 goose eggs? It makes me sad, but seriously I can't believe how he barely cries for a minute and then is fine if he even cries at all.

This is me and my little buddy, I am sad that he is not going to be the baby anymore, but he will be such a good big brother.
Taggart is learning so many new skills, like kicking and throwing balls. Showing us what he wants and he even has been helping me put the laundry in the washer and dryer, and that is just too cute. I am so grateful that I have a little helper. We sure love our little man. Next big thing?? Maybe potty training?? Ha I wish, guess we will see.

Haven't seen her in almost 2 years :(

Billy and I finally got to get together with Breck. We met at Cafe Rio for dinner and got to meet her man, Bj. It was so much fun and seemed like no time had passed since I'd seen her. we stayed at the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours. We literally had to force ourselves to leave. It was so much fun just to laugh and hang out with an old friend. We have been friends since we were like 3, so it's sad to think that we don't get to see each other that often. We're hoping this summer we'll be able to hang out more, since she's taking a break off of school and will have more time :) Lets make it a bit sooner next time. I love you!
We were both laughing of course, that's what we do best :)

Baby Shower

Billy's mom wanted to throw me another baby shower, even though we were having another boy. It turned out really fun and I had quite a few people show up. It was fun to see everyone and have time to just talk and catch up. Lilly was very excited to help her mom plan and decorate for it, and it just looked so cute in there, it turned out perfect. We got lots of cute new outfits, diapers, and wipes. Now I am feeling much more prepared for this little man to make his appearance, hopefully soon :)
Lilly made the banner

She also made the diaper cake, it turned out so cute. There was a huge lotion and bottle in the middle.

A few of the clan
Those who were able to come were friends from our first ward, Karen Poch and Kathy Griffiths. Evelynn, Kira, and Jett. Marci, Aunt Lori, and Katy. Grace, Lilly, Aunt Ava. Then the YW leaders from my ward now, Nicole, Tara, Sally, and Angie came. It was so fun to see everyone and to get to know people better.

Cute little bathrobe :)

We feel very blessed that everyone was so willing to give us new things, and to help us be more prepared for this next baby. Thank you all who came and brought things for us. I should have taken a picture of the dessert table, we had cheesecake, cream puffs, lemonade, and teriyaki chicken bites. It was all very good. Thanks again, we love you all :)

A little delayed, OEM Reunion

So we ended up going to our Mission Reunion again this year. It was a little different, instead of it being like Zone Conference it was more relaxed and just in the gym. It was fun to see so many people that we love. I only got a couple of pictures, I should have gotten one with my trainer who is also pregnant right now, but we didn't get one. My most favorite thing that happened while there, was the Elizabeth (who got baptized while I was serving in Eugene) came out to Utah with her husband and little boy, Jace. They stopped by and I hadn't seen her in like 4 years. It was so great to see her, and see that she has continued a legacy for her future family by being sealed in the temple :)
Taggart, Me, Elizabeth, Jace
Taggart found a few friends throughout the evening, even a little girl named Bella who has the exact same birthday as him. It was cute to see the little kids interact.
Taggart and Bella, we thought it was cute that she liked Minnie and he loves Mickey :)

This year they had the food catered, and Taggart was just grabbing and eating all of it. It was so cute.

Easter Weekend

For Easter this year, we went to Grace. We ended up staying at Grandma Pats this time around to make it easier to have somewhere for all of us to sleep. My Grandpa was the only one home, because Grandma just had a knee replacement. We had the house to ourselves. Friday we had dinner with my family and then my little sisters came down with us and we played Monopoly and watched Harry Potter on the big screen. They stayed the night that night, and Saturday Peanut came with Billy, Taggart, and I to Bancroft for the Easter Egg Hunt. Last year it was wet and Tagg was only crawling so we didn't take him. I was excited for him to go this year, because I thought he would have more fun even if he wasn't that interested. The age group was 2 and under. Melanie, Brantly, Paizlee, and Oaklee came too. It was fun to see them and let Tagg interact a little with Paizlee. It was so funny, because when the whistle went off this one mom rushed right in with her kid practically dragging him to get eggs. Ha ha, we found out later that was probably because she knew about their big prizes, like a bike and what not.
I was trying to tell Taggart that there was chocolate in the eggs. He was just so excited about how many kids were there. He wanted to play :)

Taggart got six quarters and a couple of bowling passes, and of course some candy. It was nice the hunt lasted like 5 minutes and then we were done:) Afterwards Mel and I realized we should've all gotten a picture together or at least one of the kids. I am sad I didn't get a picture of Oaklee because she was sleeping the whole time. Maybe next time!
That afternoon we just watched movies while Taggart took a nap, then went into Grace to visit Grandma Mac, Grandpa Lonnie, and Joslin. Joslin was making Taggart laugh so hard, it was cute.
Grandma Pat had these small apples, Tagg kept grabbing for one. We thought he just wanted to throw it. I finally gave him one, and it was so funny because he was taking bites and ended up eating half of it at least.

Loves to climb by Grandma's fireplace.

Playing Peek-A-Boo with Joslin
At Grandma Pats Taggart put his apple in the toilet, so Ashlynn took it away and threw it in the garbage. Boy was Taggart mad at her, but we couldn't help but laugh. We got him the other one and then he started eating it. After Grace, we went back to my parents house to eat and color eggs. Taggart did better this year, but I'm sure next year he'll really get into it!

Aunt Peanut helping Uncle Jayden color eggs too.

Peanut wanted to show us how using Kool-Aid packets make the colors stronger, it really worked :)

I forget how exhausted traveling is for me, especially being this pregnant. I never took a nap so Saturday night I was just ready for bed. I was glad that my parents church didn't start until 10:30 :) It was a really good Sacrament Meeting. Taylor and Sheldon Lloyd reported their missions, and we actually sat in the chapel, so Taggart did really well too. I wish I would've gotten a picture of everyone in their new Sunday clothes, my mom and sisters got dresses and Jayden got a new suit! Taggart loved going to nursery, I think he likes the one in Grace because it is bigger and they have lots of fun toys! He's growing up so much, it makes me sad that he's not going to be the baby anymore, but I know it's good for him too. After church we had a whole Thanksgiving Feast!! My dad made smoked turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, homemade bread, sweet potatoes, etc. It tasted so good I wanted more and more.
Our family

Me at almost 36 Weeks

Taggart loved trying to guide Skeeter into his cage then he would shut him in!

Then he decided he'd get in, but boy did he get mad when I shut the gate!

We had lots of fun spending time with family. It was great to reflect on the reason for celebrating Easter and to be with those we love. We hope everyone had a great Easter!
