Taggart Reunion 2011

Man, it takes a lot of work to get ready to go camping for 5 days, especially with a 1 year old. I was not excited for all the packing, but luckily Billy loaded up the car and I just helped organize stuff to go down.
Tagg helped maybe a little too much ;)

My pictures don't do it justice, but we were packed in tighter than a wedge. I was worried about Taggart, but it actually shaded him from the sun really well.

On the way we stopped in Franklin to get ice to fill up the coolers, so it wouldn't melt before we got up to the campground. I think it was a mistake. I waited 20 minutes just for 2 bags of ice. All the crazy Utahans were there buying power ball lottery tickets. Ha Ha. I'm sure that store gets plenty of business :) Once we got into the campground, I saw that Darin was driving through the water. It made me nervous, because I didn't know we had to drive through water to get to our site. It was okay, my grandma cracked me up. She said when Grandpa drove through she just shut her eyes. LOL
Tagg and I taking a walk while dad set up camp!

Great grandma Mac and Taggart

I can help dad!!
Because of the length of my mom and dads trailer it was hard for them to make it through the water and the road. The road dips too much, so needless to say it bent their bumper and broke their jacks. I'm just glad nothing else happened.

Then we decided to go check out every ones spots as they were setting up camp.

My dad putting different jacks under the trailer

My mom took Taggart on his first 4-wheeler ride with Jayden. They didn't go far, but then later we went again. It is very safe to say that Taggart loves it.
Dad and Tylin coming through

This picture is priceless! Ashlynn and Haley, they got soaked :) Then you can see my mom and Jayden in the background.

Love this picture, we just had Taggart in between us.
We didn't know where my mom and dad were going, but we followed. Taggart went on the actual trail on the mountain. It was bumpy and dusty, but he was clapping like crazy and loved every minute of it.
Roasting hot dogs for dinner, you can see my mom with Jayden's "five black hot dogs, yes please"

Grams high chair doesn't have a middle piece so Tagg just lounged a little. He ate a whole hot dog!

All snug in his new sleeping bag ready for bed.

Darin's family forgot coats, so he borrowed one! LOL we thought it was Duty's but Mandi said he needed to unsnap it so it would come down!! Ha Ha
That night we just played a little Greed instead of Bingo then went to bed. It was nice to actually play the games at night this year. Last year we just went to bed I was exhausted having a 3 week old. It was freezing all night, I was happy that Taggart stayed inside his covers and stayed really warm.

Jayden loves Andrea :)

Playing Scum
I had lots of helpers with Taggart while camping, but the littlest one was Duty. She was right by him any chance she got. She always wanted to sit by him and help him do whatever he needed. Thanks everyone who helped so we didn't get too burnt out.

Grandpa cleaning his dutch oven

Every family brings an activity, ours was making a table cloth for grandma and grandpa. We traced our hands and decorated it. It turned out pretty cute.

Waiting for the hypnotist show to start.
The Amazing Brando's first Hypnotist Show for this camping trip!!
So all day I was so excited because Darin was going to get hypnotized again, I had missed seeing it last time. I did not want to go under so I could watch. But surprisingly enough Brando put me under while I was sitting in the audience waiting. I guess if someone has put you under before it's easier and easier each time to do it. His voice just had me so relaxed I couldn't not go under.
Grandma Mel, Muffin, Darin, and Tim

Waiting for some dinner :)
While waiting we decided to take Joslin and Teigun with us on a walk to the water. I was more afraid this year for the water, because it was so high and so fast. But we ended up having fun.

Crossing the bridge

Brando told Darin that he would help clean the dutch ovens after dinner while he was hypnotized. My dad said if he helped he'd know that the hypnosis was real. He wouldn't let my dad touch his dutch ovens. He did a great job :)

Tagg playing with Uncle Jason, he loves his Uncle Jason

The Amazing Brando Part 2:
For this show we had more volunteers. Jeff, Grandma Mel, Darin, me, Haley, Ashlynn, Muffin, Brooklyn, Dakota, and Tylin. Jeff didn't make it under and the younger kids did for a bit at first but then came out of it.

He had us be in the second grade and sign our names. My mom wrote hers with her E's backwards so Darin and I were laughing. They made fun of me because I wrote so big. Ashlynn did her s backwards too.

Camaro's? This is it. Brando asked why he was going so fast, he said look at my car. Then he threw the ticket out the window! Ashlynn said she was 2 hours late for curfew and said it would be a better punishment to go to jail than call her parents!
I can't complain too much, Taggart slept every night all night, but he woke up so early, and happy as a clam :)

Taggart walked pretty well considering the uneven surfaces, but a lot of the time he crawled around with his two rings in his hands. Sometimes he was walking on all fours like a monkey, it was hilarious.

Dax isn't the only one who got pooped on, lol.

Playing checkers

Mandi's activity was Frisbee golf, we had lots of fun!

Classic take a picture of someone taking a picture :)

Billy tried playing with our Frisbee, overthrew it and had to jump in the crick to retrieve it. I told him it wasn't worth it. He got matching mosquito bites on his face on each cheek. LOL

Teigun and Ridge doing a puzzle together.
Taggart having fun with Aunt Ashlynn

I was trying to get a picture to show how dirty Taggart was, the picture doesn't do him justice.

Chocolate pudding, yum :)
Playing Kids Bingo with Gram, while all the other adults went on the 4-wheeler ride.
Another 4-wheeler ride with Mom and Dad!

A walk to the water, this time to get in,,,,maybe??

Ashlynn, Haley, Billy, Tagg

Dakota and Brooklyn
We could tell that Tagg was thinking why can't I get in, lol. So now it's his turn:

I had to grab him, he was lunging right in. We would hand him rocks and as long as they were in his left hand he would throw them in. We're becoming more and more certain he'll be a leftie :)

We went on a short 4-wheeler ride that night after we'd put Taggart to bed.

His favorite spot to walk along, one time I barely caught him before he would have face planted on the cement. It was scary.

Playing with Tylin
Can't go camping without doing each others hair and nails, and also making bracelets ( my moms activity). Haley knew how to do a lot of the bracelets so we all learned something new.

Ashlynn was going to give Gram foxy nails, hot pink with white zebra stripes!

Tagg and Daxtin

Eating our last dinner, baked potatoes and steak. Yum!

Tim helped Tylin wash all the dirt off his arms and face!

I think they were getting a little fire happy!
We had so much fun! We had a greed tournament, pinochle tournament, played bingo lots of card games and ladder golf. We were able to see everyone except for Jeremy and Cami's family and Ben and Amber's. We made lots of memories and I'm sure I'm not the only one who ate way too much food. Can't wait to go next year.

I wanted to get a picture of Billy driving through the water.

My hair after taking out the braid!
