1 Month and Counting

Taggart has turned 17 months, and that means we only have 1 more until he goes to Nursery at church. We C A N N O T wait :) He is so hard to deal with at church. He just wants to roam and run around, and I'm positive it doesn't help that we have Sacrament Meeting last :( Taggart has started to scream when he wants something or if we take something away. It has been driving us crazy. We are so looking forward to him being able to communicate better so we know what he wants. For now, I suppose we let him be upset?! He has started to really catch on to things. When he wants something to eat he goes and gets it and brings it to Billy or I to open for him. He will bring us his shoes and coat when he wants to go outside. He has even started to grab our fingers and take us somewhere that he wants something. I think the cutest new thing he has been doing is that he will take either his dads cell phone or the pretend one and hold it up to his ear and actually talk like he is on the phone. It makes me smile every time.
He likes to feed us his food too.

He was running to give me a hug and tripped right into the computer chair, he had an actual dent!

My naughty boy who loves to get in the drawers, that he is obviously too big for.

He doesn't mind taking showers again, and never complains about the water in his face. We think that taking him to Cowabunga Bay this summer really helped with that.
Taggart loves to run to us when we have our arms open to give us a big hug and most of the time he gives us a huge wet kiss too. He cracks up when he hears me laughing, he starts making his own squeal to copy me. He thinks it is hilarious to kiss us with his mouth open because we always say eeeww! He loves to lift up his shirt or anyone elses to show us their belly. He has started eating a little better for us again, which is so nice. He is still taking at least one good nap each day and sleeping from 8:30-8:00 (8:30) in the morning. I swear he does something each day that totally cracks us up. It has been fun having time off from teaching school to be with him more, and you can tell that he is loving having me home more too. Which I won't complain about :)

Great Grandma Nancy

I have only met Grandma Nancy once, and it was when Taggart was just a few weeks old. She came to visit again, this time we actually took some pictures :)
His siblings will never smile for any pictures!

4 generations
It was a pretty relaxing visit. We just went to the Burk's and had dinner and played Apple's to Apple's. We were tired, because we had sold potatoes earlier that morning. Maybe some day we'll make it to Texas to visit Grandma Nancy.

Taggart wants everyone to know

HE'S GOING TO BE A
And he is very excited, we hope!

The new baby :)

I am now 13 weeks, so my due date is May 8, 2012. It was so nice to actually see the baby today and know that it is real. I can't stop looking at the pictures, the baby is perfect and already wiggling around like crazy! Now to wait and see if we get another boy or a girl :)

Halloween

Since Taggart is still pretty young, we didn't do a whole lot for Halloween, but we did take him to see his Grandma's and Grandpa. We also took him Trick or Treating to a few houses. We started at the Burks and had yummy soup and bread for dinner, then ended up at Grandma Grace's house and finally let Taggart out of his costume, he got sick of it easily :)

Playing some music, he was also dragging the broom around, maybe he should have been a witch or wizard :)

Thought this was cute how he was carrying his bucket and everything!

Hope everyone had a very Happy Halloween!

Halloween Weekend

We went to Grace on Friday and stayed at Grandma Mac and Grandpa Lonnie's house. We had lots of fun, we went to the Carnival on Friday night. We put Taggart to bed and Billy and I went with my mom, Peanut, and Jayden to the Haunted House. Rebecca had great ideas for this house, and I thought it turned out great. We were all scared, it was great because when we were in a part where we didn't know where we were going, Jayden started humming the "Is it raining is it snowing" Song from Willy Wonka, I love how he made that connection. He's such a smart kid.

I guess Joslin had been waiting at Grandma's for us to arrive, she was the best little baby sitter. She needs to come stay with me for awhile!

Getting ready for the Carnival.

Brooklyn and Taggart

My favorite part of his costume was the way his tail waddled, ha ha ha

Our family
Saturday was just a low key day, I went with my siblings to Soda to get some groceries and we had lunch there. We then went down to Grandma Pats to see her new theater room and have dinner, it was pretty fun.
Tagg watching his show on the Big Screen.
Sunday we went to Grace's Stake Conference. They got a new Stake Presidency. Bart Christensen, Tod Jensen, and Craig Crandall. It was pretty good, but Taggart only wanted to roam the halls, so we all took turns taking him out. I'm sure my sisters didn't mind at all ;) After church it was time to get ready to go to the Harvest Dinner at Grandma Pats. I don't know why we didn't get a picture of all of us down there, because everyone was there. Don't know when that will happen again. Taggart was so excited to play outside.

We had a great weekend and loved seeing all our family. Can't wait til Christmas when we'll all be together again. Oh and we were very glad that Taggart decided to sleep half the way home, because he was so ready for a nap :)

Taggart's First Haircut

I had been putting off getting his first hair cut, because I didn't want it to grow him up too much. I also wanted Aunt Cami to do it. Luckily we were able to get to her house this past weekend, because his wings (just like dads) were getting a little out of control.

See his cute little wing??

All Done :)
Cami said she'd cut his hair anytime. He sat still for her and didn't even cry. I love his curls. Thanks Aunt Cami, we love it!

What I've been up to lately,,,,,,,,,,,,

I have been teaching Kindergarten as you all know, and it's going better now than before. I finally have manageable class sizes and feel like I'm more in the groove of things. This past week on Thursday both my classes came at the same time (47 kids) and we had the Halloween Parade and party. It wasn't too bad. They had fun making Halloween puppets and Witch's hands, and of course got tons of candy! Here is a picture of all of us, I'm sad that it's blurry, but oh well maybe that's better!

Now for the rest of my time teaching I'll be doing Assessments and getting ready for Parent Teacher Conferences. Wish me luck :)
