Will you be my Valentine?!

So this year we kind of celebrated throughout the week with different people. On Monday for F.H.E. we went to Carl's Junior for dinner and let Taggart play on the play place. As we were watching him interact with the other little kids there it was funny because I kept thinking I hope he doesn't ever throw a tantrum as bad as some of them.. But I am sure it will be in the future. I also told Billy that I don't remember ever playing on those play things when I was younger. So I decided either my mom knew how disgusting they were, or we came to eat and then had to leave to get back somewhere! On Tuesday, Billy's mom took us to dinner at Fong's Chinese restaurant. Taggart actually did really well there and even ate quite a bit of coconut shrimp and kept grabbing Zephyr's food off of his plate. Thursday night, Billy came home and surprised me with a new printer for our computer. It is just like the one we had just an updated one that will actually connect to our newer computer. I was excited and surprised. He also got me a box of chocolates from See's Candie's. That is what I got him too. We got Taggart the Donald, Mickey, and Goofy Three Musketeer movie. He has already watched it like 4 times. For our actual celebration, Billy and I had Grandma Burk watch Taggart on Saturday. We went to the Gateway theater and watched The Secret Life of Arrietty. It is a new Animation film from Billy's favorite animator. It was good and nice to go to a movie where I knew there wouldn't be any swear words and it would just be a clean one :)
Then to kill some time before our dinner reservation, we went to the downtown City Library. You can go out on top of the roof, it was a pretty view, and it was fun to go in a huge library.

The long way down, and no we didn't climb up that way, we took the elevator. Thank Heavens!!
We made reservations at Kyoto. It is a Japanese Restaurant that Billy has wanted to take me to for quite awhile. Every time we've tried they've had a 2 hour wait. Luckily we made a reservation for right when they opened. Billy got Sushi (yellowtail and octopus) and we both got tempura dinners. His sea food, mine shrimp. I would've tried the octopus, but couldn't since I'm pregnant, but it still didn't look very good. It was fun to see the waitresses all decked out in Japanese clothing and of course their socks with flip flops (too bad I didn't get a picture of that).

We had a great time celebrating what seems like a silly holiday at times. But no matter who you have in your life that you love. It's fun to show them that love. I'm grateful for my husband, Taggart, and soon to be new son. They help my life be better every day. I love you all!! Hope everyone had a very Happy Valentine's Day!!
