New blog :(
Since I am not allowed to upload anymore pictures without printing my blog into a book or erasing what I have, or paying to have more storage I opted to just do a new blog for now it is:
Group Date Night
Me, Joanna, and Jenny |
Family Fun
Most mornings result in this at some point :)
Family outing to the park, it was so nice because it was cool. Taggart was in Heaven since there were so many kids to follow and play with:
Swimming at Cowabunga Bay in September proves to mean that you have the whole place pretty much to yourself:
Taggart likes to come get on the bed with me, especially when he knows I have Owen too! |
We need to remember to bring one of Taggart's balls, he always wants someones. This boy was so nice to let Taggart play though. |
He just had to get on this train, and he just wanted to drum. I was so nervous he would fall! |
Love our stroller, I love how Taggart can sit or stand if he wants :) |
Mom!! The sun is too bright! |
Love the smirk |
This was the first time we really had Owen in and swimming with us a lot. He liked it :) |
There is no way to get a group picture with a 2 year old, so we let him keep playing! |

Taggart's first ear infection :(
Since I had a sinus infection I was afraid Taggart's sickness would turn into something worse. I tried to get him into the Dr on Monday, but couldn't until today. Taggart refused to leave the house this morning without Mr. Frog, Lightening McQueen, and his juice. I let him bring the blanket thinking I will just leave it in the car, ya that didn't happen.
When Dr. Buchanan came in Taggart was on the floor with his blanket and Lightening. I told the Dr that I was so embarrassed that he had his blanket and that he never takes it anywhere, he assured me it was okay. The Dr was cute he got on the floor to listen to his lungs and check his ears and throat. His lungs sounded fine, but his left ear was infected. Taggart hasn't had an ear infection at all. I think that is lucky to make it this long, I know some people who deal with them all of the time. I feel really bad that we ended up waiting to get him in, because he obviously was a real trooper. It's hard to know when he is usually so happy and then he wasn't too terrible while being sick. I am just grateful we got his pink medicine and he likes it. He'll be back to his old self soon! On the way home from Walmart he was trying to grab his blanket, so I threw it to him. The next time I looked back this is what I saw :)
Pretty sure he's not supposed to be in the windowsill, but if it makes him happy I'm happy! |
Waiting for the Dr |
I wish the door knobs were higher or harder to open!! |
Patient Owen waiting! |
I realized that maybe him putting his blanket and pillow on his head was how he was trying to make his ears not hurt. It breaks my heart. Hopefully next time I do better! |

Tagg the Man
Taggart can be the sweetest most lovable boy, but he can also be the worlds terrible two year old!!! HELP!!!! Some days I feel like I can't handle this boy. I need him to talk to me :( He loves giving kisses and hugs, he is so cute with Owen. I will come into the room and he's hugging or kissing his brother, or patting his head. Now how can I be upset with him for that?? But then other times he is playing rough with his toys and ends up hurting his brother. I can't wait til they can play fairly together! I am sure sooner than later Owen will take him or at least stand a fighting chance against him. Watching them makes me so happy that for their close age they are both boys. It is so fun to see them as brothers and buds. I love that they will always take care of each other. This past week I have had a sinus infection, I was so miserable. I didn't know how I was going to survive all day alone with the boys, but Taggart was so good he just came and layed by me on my bed and patted my head and he got his own snacks. I was such a proud mom :) But now he is sick, so we have some fun pictures of him.
Taggart rarely takes Mr. Frog (his blanket) out of his room. The main times he does is if he is sick or really really tired. You can just tell he doesn't feel well in these. He was cracking me up.
Since we are sick we didn't go to church yesterday, we just relaxed and rested at home. Hallelujah Taggart took an almost 4 hour nap. These pictures show how Tagg gets jealous when Mom is holding Owen.
Usually at night when we have put Taggart to bed, he comes out one or two times. I had taken trash out to the dumpster and came back and his door was open but I couldn't hear him, he had snuck into our bed and was under my pillow going to sleep. He is a little stinker! None the less it was so cute!
Then a little later he just came in my room with his drink and blanket and layed on the floor, then after that in the hallway. Silly boy we're sure his bed is more comfy than the floor. Finally he went to sleep and slept all night! Let's hope this sick bug leaves our house very soon, being sick is NO FUN!!! I would go into how hard Taggart is at church, but I want this post to end soon ;) Any suggestions welcome to dealing with a two year old!! Have a good week :)
Ha after a bath he was just eating his goolash in the banana chair. |
Wanted dad to watch Nemo while at the Dr |
Huge bite :) |
He starts in his chair or at the table, but after an hour or so he goes back to finish but wants to eat in the banana chair, a habit broken soon I hope!! |
He is just miserable, being sick is no fun! |
He has a thing for fleece :) |

Don't mind my attire and hair, it was a lazy day :) |

SS Owen at 4 months
We have lots of nicknames for our boys, I started calling Taggart Large Highness. We decided Owen could be SS Owen (slightly smaller) ha and we like the sound of it. Anyways, Owen has learned so many things this last month. His Stats are:
Weight: 19.1 Pounds=100%
Height: 26.4 Inches=90%
HC: 43 Cm=70th%
Loves his hands, always grabbing for something or sucking on them! |
He is always rolling over too, even sleeps on his side or belly now :) |
We tried rice cereal, ha ha that didn't go too well. The Dr said to just keep offering it and that anything he actually gets at this point is just extra, that he doesn't need more until 6 months.
So happy he's not colicky anymore, he is such a happy smiley babe now! |
I love how he loves to grasp my finger or shirt and he literally picks up his toys now and plays with them. He can start at one end of a blanket and end up completely opposite direction on the other side. I have really started to watch him ALWAYS!! We have had times where I have had to pump and give him bottles, I was so nervous that he would start refusing them like Taggart did. But I found out as long as it's warm enough he will drink it, yippee :) He loves to watch his big brother play and I think that is what is helping him be so active already.
Just watching a show together! Love my boys!! |
I couldn't resist taking pictures of Owen in this cute pajama set! Dad was getting him ready for bed and had just pulled some pajamas out of the drawer, they were 3-6 month. Ya those aren't going to fit anymore. Once again it's time to switch out clothes. He is mostly wearing 6-9 or 9 month clothes right now. He is still wearing size three diapers and when his reflux medicine is the right dose he has been waking only once at night!
Such a handsome little guy :) |
Lately I have kind of felt like I don't get as much one on one time with Owen as I would like. I feel like he is growing up way too fast, and that if I blink I miss it. It's hard to balance both boys, Taggart has been so demanding lately. Hoping that changes soon. I can't imagine life without Owen in it at this point, we sure love his giggles and smiles. I love how when he hears my voice he is looking for me instantly. He always smiles biggest for me too! That sure melts my heart :) I also love how I know what each of Owen's cries mean. I know when he is hungry and when it's time just to lay him in his bed for a nap. Sometimes he just wants to play and have someone talk to him. I love my little Mr. Chubs!
