Where does the time go?? 19 Months

Taggart is growing up soooo much! He is getting so smart everyday. He has been amazing me with random things all the time. Even though he is not talking much yet, I have realized that he understands A LOT! I have always called his stuffed animal and blanket that he likes to sleep with Mr. then their name. So I call his blanket Mr. Frog. The other day he had drug it out of his crib so it was in the living room, it was time for a nap. So I said go get Mr. Frog so we can go to sleep. He came out and brought it back. He does the same when I say it's time to change your bum. He goes to his room and lays down where I always change him. He has been bringing us food when he is hungry and is such a good eater. He can eat a whole Peanut butter and Jelly sandwich. Now that dad leaves we watch for him out our window and now Taggart always waves and says da da da da, instead of waving and saying bye bye. But I still think it's cute. He gets so excited when we pick up dad, and if I tell him it's time to go, he'll bring me his shoes and his coat. He is loving nursery so much. If we ever have to take him out of Sacrament Meeting, he runs straight to the nursery room and tries to climb the gate to get in. He still hasn't cried when we've left him, I'm hoping he just won't. I do like that he is excited when we pick him up though.

Maybe he'll be a boxer??!!
I just think that little boys look so cute in their church clothes, and I love making Taggart's hair curly. But boy does he need a hair cut. Hopefully soon. He loves putting on dad's shoes all day and walking around in them. It is so crazy, because he always puts them on the right feet and gets mad when he can't go where he wants. He is getting really good at it. He is constantly bringing us his shoes or boots to put on. He always brings the correct pair and just always likes to have some on his feet.

He's getting so good at playing with things the correct way too.

Happy in the morning!

Some hard things that come with his age are taking him to the grocery store. If I am lucky he will stay in the cart long enough to eat a package of fruit snacks or drink some juice. Then he wants out. Let's just say it is very hard to take him alone and not feel like I'm going to lose him. I miss the days when he would sleep in the cart,,,ha ha. So we usually let him help us push the cart and that helps entertain him.  He also always wants to go outside and since the weather has been so weird we haven't been able too very much, so thank heavens he likes to play with me and his toys inside too. His new favorite thing to do is knock over the block tower, it cracks him up for a long time. He's getting better at doing his shape toys and puzzles.  Also most of the time you can be sure to see Tagg with something on his head, whether it be a bucket, bowl, block etc. He just loves having a helmet :)

Still loves his books :)

He has a hard time remembering to always watch where he is going and fell on his blocks the other night. It made his nose bleed. I'm just grateful that was all it was and he was okay after a couple of minutes.

We got to go see Tyler again. We haven't seen him since Tagg was 4 months old. They actually played pretty well together, or just content by themselves. Tyler is almost 2 1/2 and Taggart is pretty much bigger than him.

Got to meet Hannah, didn't turn out to be the best picture. She is cute and a pretty content baby. Already so big and is only 6 months old.

We have been reading the kids Book of Mormon with him every night. He actually sits pretty well for us, and even chooses that book to look at during the day which I think is cute. I just can't wait for him to say at least part of his prayers by himself. We always tell him to say amen, and sometimes he tries. It's so cute. He's growing up so fast, that it is making us more excited for the new one coming, because we feel like Taggart is going to be a great big brother!! Also, with him around we never have a dull moment, which is good for the soul :)

Changes, they are good aren't they??

We have a few changes around our house lately. The first one is that I am not teaching anymore, so I will be with Taggart the majority of the time now. The second is that Billy found a job :) Yay!! We are so excited. It will be perfect. His schedule is perfect. He will be working Mon-Wed 8 hours and Friday morning for 4 hours. It works out great with his school schedule, and ya it's not the most amazing job in the world. But it's a job, he loves his employer and is happy to be there. Which is not something we can say about working at Sam's Club. No working Saturday's or Sunday's, that's one of my favorite parts. The third change will be more gradual. This is Billy's last quarter at school. We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. We are hoping that he will be able to get a lot of things ready this quarter for a demo reel and to ready to interview for jobs in his field. Wish us luck! Probably the biggest change that is going to happen is having another baby boy! At times I feel overwhelmed like I won't be able to handle it, but I know that this is the Lord's plan for our family at this time, and we are very excited. We'll just take it one day at a time. We are so blessed that Billy was able to find a job and that we have somewhere to live and a car to drive. We are all happy and healthy and we all love each other, LIFE IS GOOD!!
For this New Year Billy and I have tried to make some good goals to help our family out spiritually. So far we've been doing really well and are excited of the small changes we've already seen in our lives. One of our goals is to attend the temple more often. We were able to go on Saturday night, it was a great session and so peaceful. Every time I go I am reminded of why I love to go so much. I'm grateful that we live so close to them. I'm also grateful that we have people who are willing to watch Taggart so we can go out and do things together! Here are some pictures of this past week.
My parents gave Billy a gift card to Mr. Mac for Christmas, so he got two new suits.

Us before going to the temple.

Tagg looked up at us and was like take my picture too, love his little wing :)

Almost 24 weeks.

My hot hubby with his 3 piece suit ;)
Just a random side note. Last night Billy and I were reading the January Ensign and we read the article about keeping marriage relationships strong. It was a good article, and reminded us how important it is to always talk to one another and make time for date nights. I loved the quote that said after all a babysitter is always going to be cheaper than a divorce. How true is that. Sometimes we end up not having a date night because family can't watch Tagg and we feel like we can't afford a sitter, but we decided we'll have to make more of an effort to find people to switch off with. Hope everyone is having a great Monday.

Tagg and Jett

I watched Jett for Kira the other day while she went into school, so that Matt could keep working on their basement. I think the boys had fun together.

Riding in the sled together :)

They always wanted to play with what the other one had!

A train for each of us.
Taggart always climbs in his jumper, so of course when Jett was in he wanted in too.
Tried to get a smile, he stayed in this for like 15 minutes just jumping away.

Love, love this smile :)

We had quite the experience ha ha. Jett had a blow out and I couldn't remember the last time I had to change a blow out. Jett was preparing me for my new little man I guess. We also wondered if he's a daddy's boy , because he wanted Billy to hold him. Which led to him holding both of them. Guess it can give us a clue of what's to come. Thanks for coming to play Jett, come again.

Hogle Zoo

For Christmas Taggart got a pass for all of us to go to Hogle Zoo. We decided to brave the cold and go the other day. It wasn't one of our smartest ideas. It really was just COLD. Tagg didn't enjoy it as much as he would/will when we go again. We were able to see the Elephants, which is my favorite part. Here are a few pictures to prove we actually went :)
Before he got too cold.

Dad and Tagg watching the lady with the hawk.

Of course Taggart has to push the stroller instead of ride in it.

He has grown accustomed to tip toeing. This was as the little monkey cage.

Neither mom nor Tagg are very happy. You know how it goes when the kid is unhappy it just makes you unhappy??!!

That's Better :)

Hopefully it will be more fun the rest of the year to go to the zoo, especially once the new baby gets here!

Tagg's First Time Sledding

When we woke up Saturday morning, we were so excited that it had snowed. We then realized that we hadn't taken any of Taggart's snow stuff with him to stay at Grandma and Grandpa's. So we loaded all of it up and decided we would let him play and take him sledding on a little hill at Billy's old High School. Taggart loved it, wish we would've been able to do it sooner and more often. He is such a cute boy!

Trying to make a snowman but the snow wouldn't cooperate.

He didn't know what to think about this.

I have the best dad ever! :)

Mom even took me down, we went the fastest and farthest. She says it's cuz she's the biggest!

We had so much fun and can't wait to take him again. Now he drags his sled around the house and is constantly sitting in it!
